Who We Are

Five Roots Farm was born of the desire for a different kind of life.  As the world around us grew noisier and disconnected, we wanted a simpler way of living based on heritage and self-sufficiency. We wanted to live in touch with this land; growing and preserving our food, raising livestock, healing and nurturing the soil, and learning forgotten skills.

As we learned and practiced, we realized we wanted to share the fruits of these skills as much as we could with the community. In 2022, we opened a roadside, self-service farm stand to sell eggs, plant starts, fresh flowers, and handmade gifts. We continue crafting natural and homemade products to add to our offerings.  

We are truly a family affair. Our kids work hand-in-hand with us in the gardens and with the animals, as well as creating many of the handcrafted products you'll find in our farm stand.
